Dr. Annette Akinsete.

Medical Advisor

Dr. Annette Akinsete will bring her extensive experience in public health and leadership as the CEO of the Sickle Cell Foundation Nigeria to our medical team, focusing on innovative strategies for the prevention and management of sickle cell disorder. Her diverse expertise as a consultant physician, educator, and broadcaster, along with her global contributions to health initiatives, will enhance our efforts in addressing non-communicable diseases and improving health outcomes in the community.

Dr. Chinedu Cletus Ude will contribute his extensive expertise in cartilage tissue engineering and regenerative medicine to Ritustine, focusing on the use of BMSC and ADSC for regenerating cartilage defects and treating osteoarthritis. Additionally, his ongoing work with biomimetic scaffolds and chelation therapy for arthroplasty-related metallosis will provide valuable insights into innovative approaches for complex tissue regeneration.

Milestones of the Ritustine Foundation

2024

Officially established the Rita and Augustine Foundation - Ritustine, honoring the legacy of Ms. Rita Inameti and Mr. Augustine Inameti.

2025

Launched programs to provide educational and infrastructural support to children living with sickle cell anemia, constructing our first borehole, making a significant impact on their futures.

2026

Completed our Second community infrastructure project, providing clean water to underserved areas in Cross River State.

2027

Held our inaugural awareness campaign, reaching thousands and reducing the stigma around sickle cell anemia through community outreach.
