About Us

Amended Constitution of Rita & Augustine (Ritustine) Foundation

Background History

Rita and Augustine Foundation - Ritustine (Pronounced, “Re-disteen”) is in honor of the loving memory and legacies of Ms. Rita Inameti and Mr. Augustine Inameti. Rita was a kind and compassionate soul who passed away on March 3, 2023, after a courageous battle with sickle cell anemia. Despite her challenges, Rita sought ways to help those in need, dreaming of a foundation to support children and families affected by sickle cell anemia, regardless of their religion or creed. Mr. Augustine Inameti was a dedicated teacher who believed in the transformative power of education, selflessly paying school fees for several children from families in need.

Vision & Mission

We envision a world where individuals living with sickle cell anemia receive the care and support they deserve, and where communities have access to essential resources that promote health, well-being, and dignity. Ritustine Foundation is dedicated to providing support, resources, and hope to children and families affected by sickle cell anemia while raising awareness about the disease and enhancing the quality of life in underserved communities.

Core Values

  • Compassion: Inspired by Rita's kindness, we approach our work with empathy and understanding.
  • Empowerment: We believe in empowering families and communities through education, resources, and support.
  • Inclusivity: Our services are available to all, regardless of religion or creed.
  • Community Development: We strive to improve quality of life through essential resources and infrastructure.
