Rita and Augustine Foundation - Ritustine (Pronounced, “Re-disteen”) is in honor of the loving memory and legacies of Ms. Rita Inameti and Mr. Augustine Inameti. Rita was a kind and compassionate soul who sadly passed away on March 3, 2023, after a courageous battle with sickle cell anemia. Despite her own pain and challenges, Rita always sought ways to help those in need, and her dreams included starting a foundation to support children and families affected by sickle cell anemia, regardless of their religion or creed. Mr. Augustine Inameti was a dedicated teacher and inspector of schools who firmly believed in the transformative power of education. We envision a world where individuals living with sickle cell anemia receive the care and support they deserve, and where communities have access to essential resources that promote health, well-being, and dignity. Ritustine Foundation is dedicated to providing support, resources, and hope to children and families affected by sickle cell anemia.
